In-person Match Activity Suggestions
Remember: Before you meet in person, your match must sign the COVID-19 Match Guidelines and Waiver. Each time you plan to meet with your Little, complete a self-check of symptoms and exposure and evaluate if it is safe to meet.
- Go for a bike ride at the Greenway
- Hike in Dunbar Cave
- Gardening: plant flowers or trees for someone or weed an elderly neighbor's garden
- Go fishing
- Draw using sidewalk chalk
- Look at cloud shapes to find animals and pictures
Virtual Match Activity Suggestions
Remember: We can stay connected without contact. Consistently checking in with your Little can give them an outlet to talk about their emotions and to experience a little normalcy in "seeing" you, their Big.
- Explain or remind to your Little WHY you have to meet virtually. Talk about family members they love and are trying to protect by social distancing.
- Play Go-Fish via FaceTime or Google Hangout
- Play an online game of Pictionary
- Play charades via FaceTime or Google Hangout
- Watch a 5-minute TEDTalk and discuss what you learned
