Clarksville, Tenn. (April 23, 2023) – Rock ‘n’ Bowl was this year’s theme for the annual Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville Bowl for Kid’s Sake at the Pinnacle Family Entertainment Center. Big Brothers Big Sisters Executive Director Sandra Brandon-Moss said this was a banner year for fundraising, and the organization collected around $52,000 for the event, with more donations expected to come in.
On Thursday, 30 teams participated in the Bankers Challenge, with 20 teams taking to the lanes on Sunday for the Community Bowl. For the Banker’s Challenge, F&M Bank won the award for most money raised with $13,000. Along with the Banker’s Challenge, there was a new contest this year for the Community Bowl called the First Responder’s Challenge, and Clarksville Fire Rescue took home the title with the most team points. Teams were given bowling pins adorned with rock ‘n’ roll art that kept with the Rock ‘n’ Bowl theme.
